PRODUCT EXPERTISE

Waistcoat manufacturing for your brand

Gülteks handles men’s waistcoats projects according to the model, measurements and production details approved by each brand.

Grey waistcoat on a dark mannequin torso.

The waistcoat front and back are reviewed in relation to the rest of the suit.

Front and back materials, lining, pockets, buttons and any back strap with adjustment buckle are considered as parts of the same model; coordination with the jacket and trousers is defined on the sample.

Production decisions

Core decisions transferred into production

01

Front, back and suit coordination

Front and back material and appearance are reviewed against the approved collection structure, whether the waistcoat is worn alone or with a jacket and trousers.

02

Lining, pockets and buttons

Lining choice and pocket and button types, quantities and positions are defined from the technical information and approved sample.

03

Back strap, adjustment buckle and measurements

Where the style includes a back strap and adjustment buckle, their form and position are confirmed on the sample together with size-based measurements.

04

Production scope, minimum order and lead time

Scope is defined per project, from cut-and-sew production with an approved technical file to production that includes pattern and sample support. Minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed after reviewing styles, approximate quantity, workmanship details, material readiness and the approval schedule.

05

Material responsibility and quality control

Specifications and sourcing responsibility for fabric, lining and other garment materials are agreed before production. The approved sample and measurement chart guide in-line checks on critical operations and checks on measurements, symmetry, pressing and final appearance.

06

Branding and packing

Brand, size and care labels, hangers, garment covers, bags and carton configuration can be included according to approved placement and dispatch requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How are the front, back and suit coordination reviewed?

Front and back appearance, selected materials and any jacket-and-trouser combination are assessed together on the sample; the approved appearance becomes the production reference.

How are lining, pocket and button details defined?

The lining choice and pocket and button types, quantities and positions are confirmed before production from the technical information and sample construction.

How are the back strap and adjustment buckle approved?

Where the style includes a back strap and adjustment buckle, their form, position and related measurements are approved on the sample using the technical file or reference garment.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantity is not a fixed figure; it is agreed per project after reviewing the product, number of styles, approximate quantity, materials, workmanship details and production scope.

How are sampling, revisions and production lead time planned?

There is no single standard lead time. The sample, revision and production schedule is confirmed for the project after the technical information, styles, approximate quantity, material readiness and approval flow are reviewed.

Who supplies the fabric and other materials?

Technical specifications and responsibility for supplying fabric, lining and other garment materials are agreed clearly at the start of the project.

How is quality control handled?

The approved sample and measurement chart are the reference. Critical operations are reviewed in production, while measurements, symmetry, pressing, appearance, labels, quantities and packing are evaluated at in-line and final checkpoints.
